Southern California Coastal Explorer Motorcycle Tour

This all-paved motorcycle adventure was created to give riders the ultimate SoCal coastal experience within six days of riding. Day one has us meandering off the direct route in between Long Beach and Ojai in search of curvy roads. We’ll spend two nights in Morro Bay as well as Monterey allowing us to spend more time enjoying the spectacular out-rides and less time on packing and unpacking. We’ll cruise south on the Pacific Coast Highway from Monterey to Santa Barbara with the ocean and the many scenic viewpoints to our right providing the best opportunities to stop for some of the best scenic photos and wildlife viewing. The trip concludes as we return to our Long Beach, California facility.

Road Conditions: This motorcycle tour features excellent paved, twisty tarmac and open highways. This itinerary was curated to feature resplendent roads along the Southern California coast.

ARRIVAL DAY

DAY 1 - Arrival in Long Beach, California

Check into the hotel, meet the staff, and finalize motorcycle paperwork. Meet the rest of the group at the welcome dinner this evening. Stay in Long Beach, California.

DAY 2 - Long Beach to Ojai - 170 Miles

After our first morning pre-ride meeting, we're heading out of the city to explore the curvy roads of the Malibu hills and enjoying a few side-roads and scenic vistas along the way to Ojai. Stay in Ojai.

DAY 3 - Ojai to Morro Bay - 220 Miles

We're leaning into as many scenic routes as possible on this adventure, so expect winding country roads and byways as we make our way to Morro Bay. Stretch your legs after the ride with a stroll out to the iconic Morro Rock, and check out the otters and sea lions in the bay. Stay in Morro Bay.

DAY 4 - Morro Bay Out-Ride Day - 225 Miles

Leave your luggage behind and enjoy a jaunt with the group, or relax in town. For those joining us on the road again, we're heading inland to explore the country roads of San Luis Obispo County. We'll roll through farmland, past vineyards and cattle ranches before returning to our hotel in Morro Bay.

DAY 5 - Morro Bay to Monterey - 200 Miles

We're taking the fun route north! Our ride to Monterey will be full of twists and turns, and perhaps an off-shoot or two. Unpack and enjoy our two night stay in Monterey.

DAY 6 - Monterey Out-Ride Day - 220 Miles

Leave your luggage behind and enjoy another jaunt with the group or relax in town. We're meandering through the famously curvaceous terrain south of San Francisco before returning to Monterey for the night.

DAY 7 - Monterey to Santa Barbara - 230 Miles

We're cruising south on Pacific Coast Highway, making it easy to pull off for spectacular viewpoints, so keep your camera with you today! We're riding through Big Sur, and stopping to check out the elephant seals in San Simeon on our way to Santa Barbara. Stay in Santa Barbara.

DAY 8 - Santa Barbara to Long Beach - 140 Miles

From the coastline, over more hills and through a few last canyons, we're going to have a bit more fun before returning the motorcycles to the barn. Break bread with your new friends one more time. Stay in Long Beach.

DAY 9 - Fly home, or keep the dream alive. Your next motorcycle adventure awaits!
