NORTHERN BAJA ADVENTURE

Take an adventure and explore northern Baja in Mexico. This 8-day all-paved motorcycle ride features the fantastic back roads of southern California, the desert solitude of Catavina, and an epic sunrise over the Sea of Cortez in Bahia de Los Angeles. This ride is for those who don’t want to spend the entire day riding, but prefer to explore on and off the bike as you ride scenic paved roads through unadulterated desert landscapes each day. ARRIVAL DAY

DAY 1 - Your motorcycle adventure starts by arriving in Long Beach, California. Check into your hotel. Meet your fellow riders at a first-class welcome dinner this evening.

DAY 2 - Long Beach, California to Julian, California - 250 Kilometres (155 Miles)

Ride through the Santa Ana and Cuyamaca Mountain ranges on the best roads in Southern California. Stay in Julian, California.

DAY 3 - Julian, California to Ensenada, Baja California - 225 Kilometres (140 Miles)

Ride some lovely roads to the border with Mexico. Cross over into Mexico at Tecate and continue into Baja through wine country and along the Pacific Ocean until Ensenada. Stay in Ensenada.

DAY 4 - Ensenada, Baja California to Cataviña, Baja California - 370 Kilometres (230 Miles)

Ride deeper into the Baja and experience desert vistas and open roads. Get ready for spectacular stars in a desert landscape this evening. Stay in Cataviña.

DAY 5 - Cataviña, Baja California to Bahia de Los Angeles, Baja California - 170 Kilometres (105 miles)

Ride through untouched desert landscapes. Finish the day by riding to the small coastal town of Bahia de los Angeles. Stay in Bahia de los Angeles.

DAY 6 - Bahia de Los Angeles, Baja California to Alfonsinas, Baja California - 175 Kilometres (108 miles)

Enjoy the Bahia de Los Angeles sunrise over the Sea of Cortez before heading out today. We will take the Sea of Cortez Highway #5 north along the Sea of Cortez and again stay right on the shores of it. Stay in La Alfonsina, Baja California.

DAY 7 - Alfonsinas, Baja California to San Felipe, California - 150 Kilometres (93 miles)

Ride along the Sea of Cortez today. Check out a collection of racing buggies on your way north. It is a short day, so get ready to enjoy some time off the bike exploring San Felipe. Stay in San Felipe, Baja California.

DAY 8 - San Felipe, Baja California to Tecate, Baja California - 350 Kilometres (217 miles)

Ride west to Ensenada before turning north through wine country. Stay in Tecate, Baja California.

DAY 9 - Tecate, Baja California to Long Beach, California - 300 Kilometres (186 miles)

Cross the border first thing in the morning and ride the back roads to the LA area, before arriving in Long Beach. Farewell dinner tonight. Stay in Long Beach, California.

DAY 10 - Departure day. You may return home, or, continue living the dream!
