MotoQuest Tours Verdict
The air-cooled Twin Cam 103, 1690cc engine with integrated oil cooling, Six-Speed Cruise Drive transmission, air-adjustable suspension and braking power only Brembo brakes can deliver, makes the Road Glide a very impressive touring bike. The Twin Cam 103 engine pumps out nearly 100 horsepower and 100 lb-ft of torque at 3500 revolutions per minute (rpm). The hardy engine has the perfect balance of shake, rattle and ride with the four point engine isolation system. The engine is mounted at four points on rubber mounts to subdue excessive engine vibration. The bike’s Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI) system always delivers the correct amount of fuel no matter how fast you are going or what rpm you might be at. The Six-Speed Cruise Drive transmission is smooth shifting, quiet and delivers all the engine’s power to the wheel.
