Ride and HandlingThe BMW G 650 is a good street bike and easy to ride. It is also very acceptable in the dirt….which makes this bike a good choice for our adventure tours. It can be a bit top heavy, so riders should keep in mind it is not a true off-road bike.
ReliablilityThe engine is solid, and the chassis can take the punishment of long dirt days. Electric start is the name of the game, and the reliability of this bike is one of the best.
EquipmentOn our Alaska tours, the BMW G 650 is outfitted with tank bags and saddle bags. This should give the rider plenty of room for storage during the day. They are also outfitted with a BMW compatible electric outlet.
