Motorcycle Rental Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- 3 years riding experience on a same size motorcycle (negotiable)
- Valid motorcycle license (must be present at time of pick-up)
- $1,000 to $2,000 damage deposit on Visa or Mastercard
- You MUST HAVE roadside assistance for your own motorcycle recovery. (Check AMA, BMWMOA or others.)
Delivery
We do not currently keep a regular fleet in Seattle. If you would like a motorcycle from our Portland fleet delivered to Seattle we can arrange a delivery for $250. This charge will be less if combined for multiple bikes. Just ask!
Taxes and Fees
All motorcycle rental are subject to a local 8.9% State Vehicle Rental Tax.
Insurance:
Basic Liability Insurance (Standard Coverage) $15 per day (Compulsory for all BMW rentals)
*SLI (Supplemental Liability Insurance) $5.95 per day (Optional)
*LDW (Loss Damage Waiver) $15 per day (Optional)
S.L.I. may provide you with excess coverage for the difference between that provided in your rental agreement (minimum requirement is the state financial responsibility mandated by the applicable insurance jurisdiction) and $1,000,000.
The Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) is $15.00 per riding day. When you purchase this agreement, you will be responsible for none of the bike damages in case of a crash or theft.

Deposit Payment
A $500.00 per motorcycle deposit is due at the time of booking to reserve your motorcycles. If the total cost of the motorcycle rentals is less than $500.00, the full amount of rental will be considered the deposit. The deposit will be applied to the total cost of the rental. The total balance for the rental is due 30 days prior to pickup.

Balance Payment
Full payment for motorcycle rentals is due 30 days prior to rental pickup date.
Damage Deposit
A damage deposit is taken on a Visa or MasterCard. We do not charge the card, we simply authorize it. The authorization is released upon return and inspection of the motorcycle. Sorry, no Debit Cards for the damage deposit!

$2,000 for BMW 650GS, BMW 800GS, and BMW 1200GS
Early Returns
No refunds for early returns or late pick-up's, no exceptions.
Storage
Motorcycle Storage
Secure storage is complementary to any rider while they are renting a motorcycle from MotoQuest.
Luggage Storage
Secure luggage storage is complementary to any MotoQuest clients.

We can receive and store your riding gear before you arrive and send it to your home after your ride.
